The Moscow City Hall has agreed a rally of Ugra investors in Sokolniki

The Moscow authorities agreed to a meeting of depositors of the bankrupt bank “Yugra”, which is scheduled for August 23. In Sokolniki, an event will be held, which was reduced to 500 people. This was announced by the head of the regional security department of Moscow Vladimir Chernikov, “We agreed as many participants as we were provided on request,” the official said, noting that the rally was originally planned on the square near the metro station “Ulitsa 1905 goda”.
Mr. Chernikov added that the meeting scheduled for August 15 in Sokolniki will not take place, since its organizers did not send their consent to the mayor’s office. As expected, 1,500 people took part in this action. Initially, the organizers planned to hold up to three thousand participants in Trubnaya Square.
August 15, the Moscow Arbitration Court will hold a preliminary hearing on the lawsuit “Ugra.” He challenged the decision of the Central Bank to introduce an interim administration in the bank and announced a moratorium on the payment of cash to shareholders. The regulator revoked the license from Ugra in late July.
